On Saturday we went to Goldings Estate Rare Breeds Farm in Hertford. We got to go into the field with the pigs and piglets and I was brave enough to hold a chicken.
We went to London to visit the Little Angel Theatre and watch There’s a Rang-Tan in my bedroom. It was a really good show with a powerful message.
I went to lunch with my friend at The Beefeater. We had a really lovely time. My other friend (who happens to also be my cleaner) was admiring a print I had framed while she cleaned. I had found the print when sorting out Mums flat after she died and thought it was lovely, it’s also of Hampstead a place Mum and I spent a lot of time together so I brought it home and framed it.
Swimming day! So proud watching Lily swim and so much fun doing George’s parent and toddler lessons. He loves the singing and giggles away. I wrote the bulk of my Ultimate Guide to London post in the evening. Feels really good to be starting a new blog with a focused direction.
My cousin and his beautiful bride finally managed to tie knot after having their wedding postponed previously because of covid. It was a glorious day of sunshine and so lovely to celebrate with all of our family.
Tired day! After a late night at the wedding and George waking up twice at midnight and 4am I spent most of Thursday in a tired daze! Grateful for some colour in the garden from the winter pansies that Mike, Lily and George planted on Saturday evening.
Another glorious day of sunshine for September; not a cloud in the sky. Spend my lunch break on my sun lounger in the garden. Also got told thay Lily came top of her year in a maths test; very proud of my little girl who works so hard at everything she does.
